REPAIR Monthly Meeting Trinity Church

June 21, 2017 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Trinity Church
7 S Highland Ave
Ossining, NY 10562

How do we talk about race with friends, relatives, and neighbors who view the world through drastically different lenses? What do we do to tackle racism and bigotry in our communities?

Please join us at the monthly meeting of REPAIR (Rivertowns Episcopal Parishes Action on Inclusion and Race). We’ll continue addressing issues of racism in our communities with a facilitator and group discussion. You don’t need to have attended previous meetings to participate.

All are welcome; no religious affiliation needed. Snacks will be served.

In an increasingly diverse America, race continues to divide us because of unconscious bias, willful blindness, deeply ingrained systems of oppression, and the burdens of history we have yet to address. Rivertowns Episcopal Parishes Action on Inclusion and Race (REPAIR) is a community of Westchester citizens determined to play our part in bringing healing and justice to our society . . . starting with the local Episcopal churches in which many of us worship.

Trinity Church is located at 7 South Highland Ave., Ossining, NY.

See the REPAIR Facebook page and for more information about this meeting, our work, and local, regional, and national resources on fighting racism.
