Brunch and Talk by COO of Charity Navigator @ Greenburgh Hebrew Center | | |

The Sisterhood of Greenburgh Hebrew Center presents its paid-up membership brunch on Sunday, October 22. The community is invited for brunch, and to hear and meet Larry Lieberman, Chief Operating Officer of Charity Navigator. Larry’s topic is 7 Ways to Make Tzedakah as Mighty as Your Personal Investments.

Larry’s start in philanthropy happened in a 4th-grade classroom where he and a group of friends started A.P.A.W. (the anti-pollution anti-war club). A thousand bake sales, benefits, and board meetings later — Larry arrived at Charity Navigator to help them realize the potential of social activism and philanthropy.
Larry has a formidable background in tech and social media, including key roles as a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of a venture-backed software developer, Chief Marketing Officer of social networking app ooVoo, and Chief Marketing Officer of digital advertising pioneer SocialVibe. He previously held marketing and strategy positions with Comedy Central, MTV, and Time Warner. Larry has an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA from Union College.

Brunch is free for all paid-up Sisterhood members. Guests are welcome at $18 per person. Please bring a box of feminine hygiene products for donation to a local women’s shelter.
Please RSVP to Robin at Sisterhood@g-h-c.org or visit www.g-h-c.org/brunch Free babysitting is also available and reservations are highly recommended.
